Earth has been gifted with the potential of reproduction, nurturing life, and sustaining humanity. The seed we sow grows into a tall, rigid tree with a wide, sheltering canopy. Its branches bring forth segments of life, forming a magnificent whole. But have we ever looked beneath the canopy? The network of branches underneath may not be eye-catching, yet without that tangled support, the beauty of the tree above would not exist.
That tree symbolizes daughters—daughters of generations-who entangle themselves in sacrifice to create a charming view for others. They surrender their desires and their identity just to satisfy the people who claim to love them. They give up the most prestigious parts of their lives.
A daughter grows into a mother, and her entire world begins to revolve around the child she brings into existence. She stops entertaining any irrational thought about herself—her appearance, her wants, her wishes, her unfulfilled dreams. The only thing that remains is her determination to create a galaxy of wonder for her child.
Sometimes, if someone asks her what she once wished to be when she was a daughter, she no longer remembers.
In this so-called sophisticated society, people are quick to criticize daughters. But spend just one day as a daughter, and you will begin to understand the silent battles she fights daily—to earn her position, her honor, her respect.
Remember: a daughter who is nurtured with love will pass that love on to generations, filling the world with its essence.
